TownHall puts its 25
years of experience into collaboration on collecting, analyzing, and
making conclusions based on information its research partners gather. This
collaboration filters out noise and focuses on the most relevant intelligence
and its impact.
Our approach is to analyze the
wireless and digital communications sectors from the buyer’s point of view.
Nearly all of our experts participate in some element of the buying or selling
process. This gives us unparalleled insight into buyer behavior. Indeed, this
qualification of regular participation in transactions washes out more expert or
consultant candidates than any other factor. After collecting our data, we
apply our analytical experience to drilling down on individual companies to
determine the investment relevance and the timing and impact from the changes.
While thematic changes guide
our strategy, data flow from our industry experts enables us to understand and
forecast the shorter-term timing and severity of the change. We firmly believe
it is better to know what customers are doing than what management was saying.
As a result, we do not parrot management commentary or endeavor to over-analyze
short-term financial noise. We do build financial models that help us and our
clients understand the investment impact of our expert's input. ROE is the core
element of our method as it correlates well with valuation and business model
sustainability.
